This guide walks you through enabling a guest network on your Nova 5G router. A guest network allows visitors to use your internet without accessing your private devices or data.
Why enabling guest WiFi is important
Guest WiFi increases security by isolating guest access from your main network. It also helps manage traffic and bandwidth usage.
Step 1: Connect and access the router interface
- Connect to your router using WiFi or an Ethernet cable.
- Open your browser and enter
192.168.8.1
in the address bar. - Log in with your router credentials (check the label on the back if unchanged).
Step 2: Enable guest network
- Navigate to the “Wi-Fi Settings” or “Wi-Fi” tab.
- Click on “Guest Network”.
