Pre-paid (Frelsi) is a prepaid service option in mobile services. In the mobile phone service at Nova, both Frelsi and Áskrift (Subscription) it is free to call and send SMS in Iceland and also when you are in Europe (EEA).

In Frelsi, you can top up your credit as needed or have a monthly Top Up that is automatically charged to your card and prevents you from being without internet data. To keep the number open, you simply need to buy a Top up at least every three months.

ISK credit is valid for 90 days from the time of purchase and data Top Up is valid for 30 days. The monthly refill is valid for one month from the date of purchase and is automatically renewed at the same time every month.

We have all kinds of Top Ups available - monthly Top Ups, one time data Top Up and ISK credit. If you are calling abroad, we recommend the International calls package (Útlandapakki) and if you are traveling and flying around the world, the Travel package (Ferðapakki) could be for you. Take a look at the price list!

We recommend a monthly Top Up, an automatic refill that renews monthly. It's cheaper and more convenient for those who use the 4G data every day.

Monthly Top Ups renew automatically monthly. If you do not want to wait or finish your Top Up early, you can buy a new monthly Top Up and the old one will turn off. The next Tup Up renews month from then.
If this happens frequently, it may be better to buy a bigger Top Up.

In the Stóllinn in the Nova app, it's no problem to keep track of how much credit and 4G data you have left.
