It is important to keep everything clear before embarking on a vacation or a travel abroad.
If your trip is within Europe (EEA), you can call unlimited minutes and send SMS as well as be able to use a part of your online package for 0 ISK.
For travel to other countries outside the EEA area, it is best to read the price list of that country here.
Nova offers mobile phone services in over 216 countries in collaboration with foreign carrier companies. Nova's customers in Áskrift and Frelsi are therefore have a good connection during their travels abroad. Most countries offer 3G internet services, but 4G internet services are available in more and more countries.

Travel within Europe (EEA)
When you are traveling within the EEA, you call and send free SMS to all numbers within the EEA area, including Icelandic mobile and home phone numbers.
Note that numbers with other price lists - service number, etc. are not included.
The amount of 4G data included varies depending on your subscription plan. You can see what is included in your plan in Stóllinn in the Nova app.
Travel outside Europe
When traveling outside Europe, services are charged according to the price list of the country to which you are traveling.
Calls, SMS and 4G data are billed to an account in Nova's subscription plans (Áskrift), but the use must be pre-paid in Frelsi.
If the trip is to certain countries listed in the Nova Ferðapakki, the cost can be kept down. You can see which countries are included in Ferðapakki here.
