Light indicators
Power light
- On: Router is powered on.
- Off: Router is powered off.
Status light
- Off: No internet connection.
- On: Active internet connection.
WIFI light
- On: Wi-Fi is enabled.
- Off: Wi-Fi is disabled (router must be connected to a computer via LAN to enable Wi-Fi through the settings page).
LAN light
- On: One or more Ethernet/LAN ports are in use.
- Blinking: Ethernet/LAN connection is active.
- Off: No device connected via Ethernet/LAN.
Signal lights
- On: There are three signal lights on the router. The more lights illuminated, the stronger the signal.
- Off: Router is not receiving a signal. Check the Mode light.
Mode light
- Solid light blue: Connected to LTE/4G.
- Solid dark blue: Connected to 3G.
- Solid yellow: Connected to 2G.
- Solid green: Connected via WAN port.
- Solid red: SIM card inactive or incorrectly inserted. Verify APN settings in router.
Settings:
To access the router’s settings page, visit 192.168.8.1. The password is the same as the Wi-Fi password unless it has been changed. This information can be found on the bottom of the router.
In "Network Settings", you can enable or disable Mobile Data and Data Roaming, as well as change APN settings.
The APN for Nova internet SIM cards is internet.nova.is.
The next tab is "Wi-Fi Settings", where you can enable 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bands and change the Wi-Fi name and password.
WPS is enabled by default on this router. Simply press the WPS button and then connect the device you want to pair.
