What is a Wi-Fi Kastari? (Nova Wi-Fi Extender)

Nova’s Wi-Fi extender is a compact and powerful device designed to improve wireless network coverage in homes and workplaces. It is particularly useful in larger houses or spaces where walls or other obstacles weaken the Wi-Fi signal.

How Does the Extender Work?

The Wi-Fi extender connects to your primary router in two ways:

  • Ethernet Cable: Provides the fastest and most stable connection. Simply connect an Ethernet cable between the router and the extender.
  • Wireless (Wi-Fi): A convenient solution if an Ethernet cable can't be used. Keep the extender within approximately 10 meters of the router, ideally without thick or structural walls between them.

Key Benefits of the Extender:

  • Enhances Wi-Fi coverage in homes and offices
  • Easy to set up
  • Ensures reliable wireless connectivity in larger spaces

Setup and Connection Instructions:

  1. Connect the extender to a power outlet.
  2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the extender (recommended).
  3. If connecting wirelessly, ensure the extender is close to the router and free from obstructions.
  4. Wait approximately 2 minutes until the extender displays a steady white light.

How Many Extenders Do I Need?

Recommended number of extenders based on area:

  • 70–119 m² → 0–1 extender
  • 120–190 m² → 1–2 extenders
  • 191–230 m² → 2–3 extenders
  • 231–290 m² → 3–4 extenders
