Notifications in the eero app

In the eero app, you can choose which notifications you want to receive about your WiFi network. Notifications can let you know when something changes on your network, for example when a new device connects or when your network temporarily goes offline.

Where do I find notifications?

  1. Open the eero app.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Turn the notifications you want on or off.

Examples of notifications

You can receive notifications about:

  • when a new device connects to your network
  • when your network goes offline or comes back online
  • when a software update is coming up
  • when an update has been completed
  • changes related to access or permissions on the network

If you are not receiving notifications

Try the following:

  1. Check that notifications are turned on in the eero app under Settings > Notifications.
  2. Check that the eero app is allowed to send notifications in your phone settings.
  3. Make sure the eero app is updated.
  4. Close the app and open it again.

Good to know

Notifications in the eero app help you keep track of your network without needing to open the app regularly. They are especially useful if you want to know when new devices connect to your WiFi network.
