When traveling abroad with a Nova Android device, it’s important to enable both mobile data and data roaming to ensure internet connectivity. This guide walks you through activating these settings and verifying your APN settings for smooth usage while roaming.
Why this is important
Without data roaming enabled, your device won’t connect to mobile networks abroad, even if you have available data. Having the correct APN ensures your device can access the internet and send/receive MMS.

Step 1: Enable mobile data
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Go to Connections or Network & Internet.
- Select Data usage or Mobile network.
- Turn on Mobile data.
Step 2: Enable data roaming
- Return to Settings.
- Tap Connections > Mobile network.
- Toggle Data roaming on.
Step 3: Check APN settings
- In Settings, go to Connections > Mobile network.
- Tap Access Point Names (APN).
- Ensure the following APN configuration is present:
- Name: Nova Internet
