Call Forwarding – Samsung Android (How-to Guide)

This guide walks you through how to activate and deactivate call forwarding on a Samsung phone with Android. Call forwarding lets you redirect incoming calls to another number—useful when you're busy, out of service, or using another device.

🔹 Step 1: Open the Phone app

  1. Tap the Phone icon (green dial).
  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Settings.

🔹 Step 2: Access call settings

  1. Tap Supplementary services or Calls depending on device version.
  2. Tap Call forwarding.

🔹 Step 3: Choose forwarding type

You’ll see these options:

  • Always forward
  • Forward when busy
  • Forward when unanswered
  • Forward when unreachable

Select your preferred option and enter the number to forward to.

🔹 Step 4: Activate or deactivate

  • To activate, enter a number and confirm.
  • To deactivate, tap the option and select Turn off.
