This guide explains how to enable VoLTE (Voice over LTE) on Android phones. VoLTE allows you to make voice calls over the 4G/LTE network instead of falling back to older mobile networks.
Why enabling VoLTE is important
When VoLTE is enabled, you can benefit from:
Better call quality
Faster call setup
The ability to use mobile data while on a call
Improved coverage in areas where 2G/3G networks are limited
Materials needed
An Android smartphone that supports VoLTE
A Nova SIM card
4G/LTE coverage
The latest available software update installed on your phone
Step 1: Open Settings
Open Settings on your Android phone.
Tap Connections or Network & Internet (the name may vary depending on the device).
Step 2: Go to mobile network settings
Tap Mobile networks.
Select your Nova SIM card if you use a dual-SIM phone.
Step 3: Enable VoLTE
Find VoLTE calls, 4G Calling, or Voice over LTE.
Toggle the setting on.
Note: The wording and menu layout may differ slightly depending on the phone manufacturer (for example Samsung, Google Pixel, or OnePlus).
Step 4: Restart your phone (recommended)
Restarting your phone ensures that the settings are fully applied to the network.

Some imported phones may not support VoLTE on all networks.
If VoLTE still does not work, please contact Nova customer support for further assistance.
