This guide will help you activate eSIM on a Samsung phone using a few simple steps. eSIM allows you to use mobile service without a physical SIM card, making it especially convenient for those who use more than one number or wish to eliminate plastic SIM cards altogether.
Materials needed
- A Samsung phone that supports eSIM (e.g., Galaxy S20 or newer, Galaxy Z Flip/Fold series, etc.)
- A stable Wi-Fi connection
- Nova eSIM QR code (available via self-service portal, in-store at Nova, or from customer support)
Step 1: Open Settings and search for “SIM”
- Open the Settings app.
- Type “SIM” in the search bar and select SIM card manager or a similar option.
Step 2: Add an eSIM
- Tap Add mobile plan or Add eSIM.
- Select Scan QR code from service provider.
Step 3: Scan the Nova QR code
- Scan the QR code you received from Nova.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm the activation.
Step 4: Activate the eSIM plan
- Once the eSIM has been registered and approved, tap Activate if prompted.
