Family Sharing allows up to six family members to share music, movies, apps, and more without using the same Apple account. One adult, the organizer, can set up Family Sharing and invite others to join the group.
To set up Family Sharing on iPhone or iPad:
Open Settings and tap your name.
Tap Family or Family Sharing, then select Set Up Your Family.
Follow the on-screen instructions to add family members.
To add family members:
In Settings, tap Family.
Tap Add Member.
Choose to create an account for a child or invite someone with an existing Apple account.
Once the invitation is sent, you can track its status by going to Family in Settings and tapping the person’s name. From there, you can also resend the invitation if needed.
